Taking up the challenge by Mark DeMoss’ book, this blog posts a link to a chapter of Proverbs that cooresponds to the date. Each day I read the chapter and post my thoughts on a portion of the chapter.
The word proverb comes from the Hebrew, meaning “to rule, govern, or cause to have dominion. So, reading a chapter of Proverbs each day will:
- affirm that God has dominion over my life, and
- help me rule over my dominion–my influence in the world–with Godly wisdom.

Thanks for this blog! I estimate I have read through the book of Proverbs some 250 times in my life and continue to be challenged through reading the corresponding chapter with the day of the month.
I have been greatly encouraged by the number of people who have read this little book and written to say they had begun (or renewed) reading Proverbs daily. I encourage you to try it for one month and se if you can stop.
